Nestled at 2610 W 51st St, this cozy eatery is renowned for its warm ambiance and genuine hospitality, making it a must-try destination for food lovers.

As soon as you step inside, you are greeted with the delightful aroma of traditional recipes that have been passed down through generations. The commitment to quality ingredients shines through in every dish. Patrons rave about the tacos, with customer Elizabeth Hernandez declaring them "amazing" and highlighting the kind nature of the staff. Indeed, the people here contribute to the inviting atmosphere, enhancing your dining experience.

Among the many culinary treasures on the menu, the chile rellenos stand out as a fan favorite. Jeff Rubio's second visit left him hooked, praising the delectable sweet red sauce that elevates this classic dish to new heights. It's clear that each plate is crafted with passion, ensuring a burst of flavor with every bite.

If you’re a lover of gorditas, El Publano has you covered. Patricia Magallanes and Xareny Canales can attest to the restaurant's mastery of these delectable stuffed treats, with nopales, frijoles, and queso options that are simply irresistible. Amazing tacos Small place but very delicious wonderful people working their , so kind i highly recommend it

Second time eating there and I'm hooked , the chile rellenos are awesome they do come covered in a sweet red sauce Oh So Good !

Great place for some gorditas de nopales! I highly recommend this place if your looking for authentic Mexican food.

This is one of my favorite places for gorditas. To say that I'm obsessed with the nopales, frijoles y queso gorditas is an understatement. I miss working near that place solely because of their gorditas. They're handmade and the taste is very authentic. This is a must try when you're in the south side. The place, I believe, is family owned and the food tastes as if they invited you over to eat at their home.

Authentic delicious Steak Tacos. If you can find parking try the carne asada la Tampicenia a real bargain. Go early to find parking with ease. They have Mexican flavoured sodas as well as the standard soft drinks. There are 2 tables & a selection of dishes. Chicken beef or pork they will serve at your spice level. Enjoy
